COVID SAFETY
Top-Grade Disinfectant
Staff will use disinfectant proven to kill viruses in all common areas before and after class. We will pay extra attention to bikes, weights and all high-touch surfaces.
Surfaces
After every class, we will disinfect high-touch surfaces like doorknobs, handles, rails, light switches, sanitizing stations, cubbies, bathrooms and front desk areas.
Bikes & Weights
Every bike will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized after each class. We will also take extra precaution on hand weights, even if not used in the previous class.
Face Masks
All staff and members of our community are required to wear face masks in all common areas. You may remove your mask only if you are clipped in and on a bike.
Air Filtration System
We partnered with Molekule, a professional-grade air purifier brand that uses PECO air-purification that has proven research showing minimization of COVID-19.
Contactless Check-In
Our mobile app for iPhone and Android allows you to geo-checkin when you arrive at the studio. Simple open your mobile app 10 minutes before class and check-in.
BEFORE YOU RIDE
Every staff member and instructor will have their temperature checked before each shift. When necessary, we will follow our elevated temperate protocol. When you arrive at our studio, please check-in via your mobile app and enter the glass doors. You will be required to wear a face mask and stop at the contactless temperature check status. This system will let you know when it is safe to enter our facilities.
To limit hand-to-hand contact, hair ties and individually wrapped earplugs will be behind the desk and are available upon request. If you need help getting set up on the bike, we are here to help. It will always be from a safe distance (6 or more feet). We have put protocols in place that limit staff from leaving the front desk area, aside from studio cleaning. When absolutely necessary, our staff will safety assist riders with bike setup.
Our room has been modified to maintain proper social distancing. Please use the assigned bike or bike you signed up for when originally booking the class. It is not a free for all. Instructors will demonstrate proper bike setup and riding positions on the stage. Once the studio door closes and class starts, we will not let riders in.
AFTER YOU RIDE
Our staff will work to get riders in and out of our studio while maintaining social distancing practices. We ask that you avoid waiting for class in the lobby or hallways, and consider waiting outside or in your car if you are comfortable and the weather permits. You will need to check-in for class via our mobile app for iPhone and Android.
Be sure to put your mask back on before unclipping from the bike. You must wear a mask in all common areas of our facilities, studio and optionally during class. Please bring your own as we will not be supplying these.
Please keep to the right when entering and exiting the building. Use the sanitizing stations around the studio and keep a distance from other riders. We have retail so be sure to view our collection and ask to make a purchase. We will not be allowing riders to try on merchandise. All sale items are final.
Please be mindful of the next class and other guests. We ask that you do not sit on in-studio seating and to grab your personal belongings and leave the studio right after class.
RIDER RESPONSIBILITY
We will always look out for you. Our safety details beyond what you see here. The way our safety process will be most effective is if we all make sure to do our part. Aside from respecting the safety guidelines put into place by our Government, we ask that any rider coming to the studio walk in with the approach our Amor team takes on everything — go above and beyond for each other. Please make sure to practice social distancing when in close, shared spaces like cubbies and bathrooms.
While we are taking every precaution to keep our community safe, and encouraging others to do the same, there is still risk in potentially coming in contact with the virus. If there is a reported case of COVID-19 at the studio, or in a class you have taken, we will notify you immediately. From there, we will take proper safety precautions to disinfect the studio from top-to-bottom.
If you have a cough, fever, or are showing symptoms of COVID-19, please do not come to the studio until you are symptom free and fever-free for at least (4) four days. If you have tested positive for COVID-19, or have knowingly come into close contact, or been in close contact, with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, we ask that you do not come to the studio for a minimum of (14) fourteen days. You must test negative for COVID-19 before coming back to the studio.
If you feel unwell, or have any concerns about coming in to ride, please stay home and stay safe. Your bike will still be here waiting for when you are ready to return. We encourage riders and staff to limit person-to-person contact. This includes hugging, high-fives and being within 6 feet of each other. We encourage air hugs and air high-fives. Our community is our heartbeat. It is what keeps us moving every day. During this time, we strive and make it our top priority to keep you safe.
It might be a bit overwhelming at first. But trust us. As soon as that first song starts playing, you’ll find yourself in a place full of love, heart and community. Whether you plan to join us in the studio, or feel more comfortable staying at home, we are here for you. If you have questions or concerns, please email us at hello@amorcyclingstudio.com.
